Rescan plug-ins in your DAW's preferences. Look under the vendor DETØN SCIENCE. On a Mac, Logic and GarageBand use the Audio Unit; Ableton Live, Bitwig, Reaper and others can use the VST3. On Windows, make sure the DAW scans C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3.

Right-click (Control-click) the app and choose Open, then Open again. You only do this once. Notarized builds will remove this step.

macOS 11 or later on Apple silicon or Intel. The installer contains both.

Yes. Every instrument plays from a MIDI keyboard or your DAW, and in every one you can right-click any control and choose MIDI LEARN, then move a knob on your controller. Every parameter is also open to DAW automation.

LENS runs on Windows 10 and 11 today. POLY, RESOLANA and MASTER for Windows are planned.

Mac: delete the app from Applications and the plug-ins from /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3 and /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components. Windows: Settings → Apps → the product → Uninstall.

Double-click it. That works on every control in every LENS product.

Yes. In POLY, RESOLANA and MASTER the half-circle icon in the top bar switches between the SPACE skin and the LENS skin; in LENS, open MENU and pick a skin. Your choice is remembered.

Yes. Everything synced (LFOs, echo, ORBIT, RAMP and STEPS, the LENS sequencer) follows the host tempo and transport. In the standalone apps the tempo is set in the app.

Yes. Parameter IDs are frozen and projects from earlier versions are tested against every release.

Mastering is the last step before your listeners hear it, so MASTER gives you targets, Auto-Master and the Assistant instead of dice. The creative tools have their dice: RANDOM in LENS and EFX, BIG BANG in POLY's ORBIT.

LENS products are made and sold by Heavy Layers of Imbalance LLC under the DETØN SCIENCE name. Buying one gives you a personal licence to use it on your own computers, to make and sell any music you like with it, with no royalties. You may not share your licence, resell it or redistribute the software. Factory presets and sounds may be used in your music but not repackaged and sold as presets or sample packs.

The demo is the full instrument: every sound, every page, no time limit. Saving (projects, presets) and taking audio out are switched off, and the sound dips softly for a second once a minute, until you add a licence key; your DAW session still saves with it inside. The same install unlocks.
